Job Opening: Civil Engineer Solar & Substation Projects

Location: Hyderabad (with site visits across Telangana & AP)

Employment Type: Full-time / Project-based (open to discussion)

Job Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a hands‑on Civil Engineer with strong experience in solar power plant civil works and substations, capable of independently handling BOQs, foundations, and execution support.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation & verification of BOQs for:
  • Solar module mounting pile foundations
  • Inverter foundations / inverter rooms
  • Transformer foundations & bays
  • Substation control room, equipment foundations & cable trenches
• Quantity take‑off from drawings and site conditions
• Cost estimation and civil budget planning
• Coordination with structural designers & electrical teams
• Site execution support and civil quality checks
• Monitoring civil contractors measurements & RA bills
• Ensuring compliance with drawings, specs & safety norms
• Supporting tender & pre‑execution civil planning when required

Required Skills & Experience

• B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• 48 years of relevant experience in:
  • Solar EPC projects
  • Substations / switchyards (33kV / 66kV / 132kV preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • Pile foundations (cast‑in‑situ / precast)
  • Inverter & transformer foundations
  • Substation bays & control rooms
• Experience in BOQ preparation & quantity estimation
• Ability to read and interpret civil & structural drawings
• Familiarity with site execution challenges in solar projects
• Software Knowledge (Preferred):
  • AutoCAD
  • Excel (BOQ, measurements, costing)
  • Basic knowledge of STAAD / SAFE (added advantage)
