We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Civil Engineer to join our railway contracting team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between core civil engineering principles and specialized railway infrastructure. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of project execution—from initial tender estimation and project setup to daily on-site coordination and tracking maintenance. If you are a hands‑on engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and possesses strong coordination skills, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Tendering & Project Estimation
  • Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings for upcoming railway projects.
  • Prepare accurate quantity take‑offs, cost estimations, and rate analyses for track work, earthwork, and civil structures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to gather competitive quotes for materials and machinery.
• Project Setup & Mobilization
  • Assist in setting up upcoming project sites, including site offices, labor camps, and material storage yards.
  • Establish initial site baselines, alignment checks, and coordinate with the surveying teams.
  • Ensure all statutory approvals, safety protocols, and resource planning are in place before project commencement.
• Daily Site Coordination & Execution
  • Oversee daily operations at track construction and maintenance sites to ensure work aligns with approved designs and schedules.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with client representatives (e.g., Railway Authorities, Project Management Consultants) and internal teams.
  • Manage labor deployment, machinery utilization, and material supply to avoid any downtime.
• Track Maintenance & Quality Control
  • Supervise track maintenance schedules, including deep screening, tamping, lifting, and lining operations.
  • Implement strict quality control measures for ballast, sleepers, rails, and structural concrete.
  • Maintain accurate daily progress reports (DPRs), site logs, and measurement books for billing purposes.
