Job summary

Worley is seeking a Civil Designer Level II - Tekla to develop 3D structural models and create GA drawings for civil and industrial projects. You will collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with international codes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s/ Diploma in Drafting or Modeling, 5 years’ Tekla experience, and strong knowledge of steel and concrete detailing. Proficiency with BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in drafting/modeling.
• 5+ years hands-on Tekla Structures experience in civil/structural projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel and concrete detailing.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and integration with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in EPC or construction companies.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D structural models using Tekla Structures for civil/industrial projects.
• Prepare GA drawings for Structural Steel/Concrete and reinforcement detailing.
• Experience with shop and fabrication drawings is a plus.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform clash detection, model validation, and quality checks.
• Generate MTOs, BOQs, and reports from Tekla models.
• Ensure adherence to IS, AISC, BS, Eurocodes and other standards.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet timelines.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and construction phases.
• Maintain and update project documentation and revision control.

The Role

As a Civil Designer Level II - Tekla with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• Develop and manage 3D structural models using Tekla Structures for civil and industrial projects.
• Prepare Structural Steel / Concrete GA drawings, and reinforcement detailing.
• Experience in shop drawings and fabrication drawings will be added advantage.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with design.
• Perform clash detection, model validation, and quality checks to maintain project integrity.
• Generate material take-offs (MTOs), BOQs, and reports from Tekla models.
• Ensure adherence to international codes and standards (IS, AISC, BS, Eurocodes, etc.).
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within timelines.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and construction phases.
• Maintain and update project documentation and revision control.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma/Certificate course in Drafting / Modeling.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Tekla Structures in civil/structural projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel structures, concrete structures, and rebar detailing.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and integration with other design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience working in reputed engineering, EPC, or construction companies.
