1Plus1 Studio, an award-winning wedding photography and filmmaking company based in Bangalore, seeks a full-time Wedding Cinematographer. You will capture weddings with a cinematic, storytelling-driven approach and collaborate with the team to deliver emotion-filled films.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of professional experience, a strong wedding-film portfolio, and proficiency in Premiere Pro. Willingness to travel for destination weddings is essential.

• 2–4 years of professional experience as a cinematographer, preferably in the wedding industry.
• Strong portfolio of wedding films mandatory.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects and DaVinci Resolve a plus.
• Willingness to travel for destination weddings across India and internationally.

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Wedding Cinematographer who is passionate about visual storytelling and creating cinematic wedding films. The ideal candidate is someone who loves capturing genuine emotions, has experience shooting weddings, and also possesses a strong understanding of the editing process.

While the primary responsibility is cinematography, knowledge of video editing is essential so you can shoot with the final film in mind and collaborate effectively during post-production.

• Work closely with photographers and the creative team to ensure seamless coverage.
• Understand each couple's vision and translate it into compelling visual narratives.
• Plan and execute creative shots while adapting to changing wedding-day conditions.
• Assist in the post-production process and edit wedding films when required.
• Ensure all footage is properly backed up and organized after each project.
• Stay updated with the latest filmmaking techniques, camera systems, and industry trends.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining high creative and technical standards.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience as a cinematographer, preferably in the wedding industry.
• Prior experience shooting weddings is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of camera movement, composition, lighting, and storytelling.
• Proficiency with professional cinema cameras, gimbals, lenses, and audio equipment.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (required). Experience with After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
• Ability to edit wedding films or contribute meaningfully to the editing process.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel for destination weddings across India and internationally.
• A strong portfolio showcasing wedding films is mandatory.
