micro1 is seeking a Chinese Voice Coach (Mandarin) to remotely evaluate Chinese pronunciation and language quality for AI model training. You will listen to Chinese audio, judge nativeness and fluency, and provide precise feedback in English to guide model improvements.

Ideal candidates have native-level Chinese, strong accents and phonetics insight, and the ability to document evaluations clearly. This is a remote contractor role with flexible scheduling and fast onboarding through micro1.

• Native-level proficiency in Chinese, with strong command of both spoken and written language.
• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio clips in Chinese and evaluate nativeness and fluency of speaker or model output.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to established guidelines.
• Document assessments with clear, concise written feedback in English, noting key linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure clarity and consistency in results.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or address ambiguities in language content.
• Contribute insights to help improve AI model performance in Chinese language understanding and generation.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned audio review tasks.
