Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will act as the operational backbone of Right Gold, translating strategic goals into efficient and actionable systems. The role requires a dynamic leader capable of optimising processes, managing daily operations across departments, and ensuring the company runs smoothly while achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily operations across all functions including sales, production, supply chain, and administration.
- Ensure smooth execution of company policies, processes, and standards.
- Process Optimization & Systems Design:
- Design, implement, and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop SOPs for each department ensuring consistency and accountability.
- Strategic Execution:
- Translate high-level strategic plans into actionable operational goals.
- Monitor KPIs, track progress, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate departmental heads and operational teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Inventory Management:
- Oversee supply chain, inventory management, and vendor relations.
- Ensure timely procurement and smooth production planning.
- Financial & Performance Oversight:
- Collaborate with finance team to manage budgets, cost control, and operational expenditure.
- Analyze operational performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in operational leadership, preferably in retail or jewellery sector.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process optimization skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
