Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced cyber security leader to own and elevate the organisation's information security posture across operations. You will report to senior leadership and drive governance, policy, and regulatory compliance for a high-growth financial platform.

The role oversees SOC, incident response, threat hunting, and cyber resilience, while advancing zero-trust, IAM/PAM, and DevSecOps across cloud environments and trading platforms.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in cyber security for a financial services platform.
• Proven ability to report to Board/ committees and drive policy development.
• Experience managing SOC, incident response, and cyber investigations.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously enhance the organisation's information and cyber security posture across all business operations.
• Lead cyber security governance, including Board and committee reporting, policy development, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities, incident response, cyber investigations, and remediation initiatives.
• Drive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, cyber audits, threat hunting, and cyber resilience programmes.
• Secure cloud infrastructure, applications, APIs, trading platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and implement zero-trust architecture, IAM/PAM frameworks, DevSecOps practices, and security monitoring capabilities.
• Manage data protection, privacy compliance, and third-party security risk programmes.
• Serve as the primary cyber security liaison for regulators, industry bodies, and external stakeholders.
• Lead cyber awareness and security culture initiatives across the organisation
