Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a senior finance leader to shape and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with its goals. You will partner with the MD/CEO and Board on strategic decisions, investments, and growth, while delivering robust forecasts and insightful analyses.

Lead budgeting, cost optimization, and working capital management, ensuring statutory compliance and strong governance. You will drive ERP-enabled reporting and MIS for informed management reviews.

Qualifications

Financial Strategy & Leadership:-Develop and execute the companys financial strategy aligned with short-term and long-term business goals.-Act as a strategic partner to the MD/CEO and Board in decision-making, investments, and growth initiatives.-Provide financial insights, forecasts, and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Control:-Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial plans.-Monitor actual performance versus budget and take corrective actions.-Drive cost optimization initiatives across procurement, production, logistics, and overheads.

Accounting, Compliance & Governance:-Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS).-Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, Customs, Excise, FEMA, and other applicable laws.-Oversee internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks.-Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:-Manage cash flows, banking relationships, fund utilization, and liquidity planning.-Optimize working capital including inventory, receivables, and payables.-Handle banking operations, credit limits, LC/BG management, and borrowing requirements.

Taxation & Regulatory Interface:-Oversee direct and indirect taxation including GST, customs duties, and import-export related compliances.-Represent the company before tax authorities, auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies when required.

Systems, SAP & MIS:-Drive effective use of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally or similar) for finance and controls.-Ensure timely MIS, financial dashboards, and performance reports for management review.
