Role Summary

The CFO will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving financial strategy, governance, and capital planning, while building a scalable finance function aligned with the company’s high-growth trajectory. The role will have end-to-end ownership across accounting, finance, business performance, fundraising, investor relations, and IPO readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Partner with promoters and leadership team to define long-term financial strategy and growth roadmap
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
• Provide strategic inputs on expansion, capex, and international growth

2. Accounting, Controllership & Governance

• Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and audit processes
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS / IFRS, statutory regulations, and internal controls
• Strengthen financial governance, risk management, and audit frameworks

3. Business Finance & Unit Economics

• Drive deep understanding of unit economics, product profitability, and margin optimization
• Build robust MIS and dashboards for real-time business performance tracking
• Partner with operations to improve cost efficiency, inventory turns, and working capital cycles

4. Fundraising & Capital Structuring

• Lead equity and debt fundraising initiatives
• Engage with investors, banks, and financial institutions
• Optimize capital structure to support growth and expansion

5. Investor Relations (IR)

• Build and manage relationships with existing and prospective investors
• Develop investor communication, presentations, and performance narratives
• Ensure transparency and consistency in financial disclosures

6. IPO Readiness & Public Market Preparation

• Lead end-to-end IPO readiness, including process, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Work closely with investment bankers, auditors, and legal advisors
• Establish systems, controls, and reporting standards required for a listed environment

7. Treasury & Working Capital Management

• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations
• Drive efficiencies in working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory
• Mitigate financial risks including forex and commodity exposure

8. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team
• Institutionalize processes, systems, and best practices
• Drive a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement

Candidate Profile

• 6 days working Compulsory
• 15–22 years of experience in finance leadership roles
• Strong exposure to manufacturing / jewellery / metals / industrial sectors preferred
• Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, and IPO readiness
• Deep expertise in business finance, unit economics, and controllership
• Experience in scaling organizations and building finance functions
• Qualified CA (mandatory); MBA/CPA is a plus
