Job summary

Jain V & Co in Mumbai seeks an experienced finance professional to lead the Finance & Accounts function of a listed company. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, regulatory compliance and strategic financial planning while ensuring SEBI regulations are followed.

You will manage month-end/year-end closings, internal controls, and audits, and report to senior management and the Board. Strong leadership and ERP proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ind AS and regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with SEBI regulations and Companies Act.
• Ability to lead a finance team and manage audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts function.
• Oversee financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing, and statutory statements in line with Ind AS.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI LO DR, Companies Act, stock exchange rules and laws.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, MIS, cash flow and working capital.
• Oversee taxation, audits and internal controls.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes.
• Present performance and insights to senior management and the Board.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, regulators and investors.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Finance & Accounts team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the Finance & Accounts function of a listed company. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, accounting, treasury, budgeting, taxation, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and strategic financial planning while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and SEBI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts function.
• Oversee financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI (LODR), Companies Act, stock exchange regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, cash flow, treasury, and working capital.
• Oversee direct & indirect taxation, statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
• Present financial performance and business insights to senior management and the Board.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, regulatory authorities, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
