Responsibilities

• Provide application architectural solutions to meet business requirements.
• Work in compliance with organization’s policies and procedures for operational efficiency.
• Recommend new technologies to management to develop robust applications.
• Define methods, standards and templates. Review and recommend improvements to existing application architectures.
• Contribute to build and maintain IS strategy framework (API cartography, identification of obsolete systems/decommissioning, etc.).
• Study the market to provide high-level architectural vision of the organization and define a target.
• Define a roadmap of implementation and transformation.
• Work on application decommission strategies identified by the Business Line and Central Architecture teams.

Qualifications

• Will be responsible for one or more technical domains in GBTO.
• Good understanding of designing & architecting on Azure.
• Hands‑on experience on big data stack.
• Experience driving end-to-end architecture for large distributed systems.
• Hands‑on familiarity with Java/C#/Python (preferably Java/Python).
• Good in RDBMS, MQ, caching, load balancing, service discovery, micro services.
