Job details

You will be working in the Sourcing department.

You will report to Head of Sourcing and you will work at our facility at Thervoy Kandigai, Chennai, India.

Your tasks

• Manage Direct materials categories, preferred to have knowledge in Foundry commodities
• Support regional team in negotiations
• Adherence to regional and global processes including templates
• Follow Way to Market for NPI
• Ensure compliance in Sourcing process
• Internal stakeholder management – factory managers, functional mangers
• To explore and implement continuous improvement in sourcing process and supplier process for optimizing cost.
• To support Budget preparation for the regional sourcing function
• External stakeholder management - key strategic suppliers
• To support regional sourcing team for implementing category strategies
• Participate and Drive cross functional teams on various new initiatives
• Keep informed on sourcing methodology and best practice developments
• Be in forefront of market developments

Professional and personal qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in the foundry industry.
