Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Chemistry Specialists (Masters/PhDs) to train AI models by crafting rigorous chemistry problems and evaluating AI-driven reasoning. This is a fully remote hourly contract for working scientists, postdocs, and researchers who want to apply deep domain knowledge on flexible schedules.

You will design and review advanced problems across organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry, using Python or Gaussian/VASP and communicating results clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Holds a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Deep expertise in at least one of: organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry.
• Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian, VASP, or similar.
• Exceptionally clear written communicator — you can explain complex science precisely and accessibly.

Responsibilities
