Job summary

Momentive in Chennai, India is seeking a skilled Chemist to join our quality laboratory team. The role focuses on testing and releasing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with EHS and GLP standards.

You will support product trials, investigations, shelf-life studies, and the preparation of COAs and quality documents. A chemistry degree with 5–6 years of analytical instrumentation experience is expected, with a preference for polymer knowledge.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Chemistry with analytical knowledge and 5–6 years of experience handling analytical equipment.
• Postgraduate in Chemistry with Polymer knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and hardworking attitude.
• Experience from chemical manufacturing preferred.
• Team player with adherence to timelines.

Responsibilities

• Good Analytical skill and passion towards hard work.
• Candidates from Chemical manufacturing are preferred.
• Should be a team player.
• Exposure to Chemical Process is preferred.
• Should be well-versed in handling of analytical equipment.
• Should be Quality conscious.
• Should strictly adhere to Turn-around time
