Job summary

TÜV Rheinland Group in Bengaluru seeks a capable analytical chemist to support lab-based testing and certification activities. You will analyze samples using ICP-OES, ED-XRF, and UV-Visible spectrometry, develop and validate methods, and ensure compliance with NABL ISO/IEC17025 standards.

The role requires 1+ year of relevant experience, wet sample preparation skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and shift work as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional experience in analytical laboratory settings.
• Familiarity with NABL ISO/IEC17025 standards and laboratory documentation.
• Experience with wet sample preparation and metal alloy composition analysis.
• Knowledge of RoHS, ELV, SVHC, carbon and sulfur analyses.
• Willingness to work in shifts and adhere to HSE policies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects under lab manager or deputy.
• Analyze samples and review instrument data in ICP-OES, ED-XRF, and UV-Visible instruments.
• Troubleshoot and maintain analytical equipment.
• Develop and validate methods for new compounds/elements.
• Maintain NABL/ISO 17025 compliant documentation.
• Ensure CRM availability of critical consumables and record keeping.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies.

Job Description

• Taking part in projects under lab manager or his deputy
• Analysis of samples & review of instrument data and interpretation in instrument like, ICP-OES, ED-XRF, UV-Visible, Inorganic sample preparation,
• Good knowledge in trouble shooting and maintenance of all analytical equipment
• Method development and method validation for new compounds/elements in ICP-OES.
• Maintaining the documents/records as per NABL ISO/IEC17025 standards
• Responsible for wet sample preparation, Good Knowledge in metal alloy composition, rregulatory testing RoHS, ELV, SVHC, Carbon & Sulphur analysis
• Responsible for CRM availability, evaluating critical consumables and Maintain Records
• Working in shifts as per requirements of business.
• Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities.
• Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
