Contracts Manager (Chemical Products) is responsible for leading, developing, negotiating, and executing contracts for chemical products and related. This role ensures full compliance with corporate standards and regional regulatory requirements across APAC/ EMEA / North America. The position requires deep commercial acumen, strong legal awareness, and technical understanding of chemicals used in upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
Drive value, efficiency, and expanded market advantage via end-to-end category management phases, while ensuring operational integrity. Plan, organize and control business, contracts, negotiations for acquisition of Goods and services. Develop comprehensive agreements of Chemical products & associated services for our Business Clients on timely basis. These agreements should ensure that all acquisitions are made under competitive terms, optimizing cost-efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality and service also fostering strong and reliable business relationships.
Responsible for creating key contract development deliverables for moderately complex agreements, including contracting plans, go-to-market approaches, draft agreements for negotiation, deal sheets, risk assessments, and award documentation to support decision-making. Ensures agreement compliance and utilization to achieve purchase to pay excellence. Manages supplier relationships at the agreement level, resolving execution issues, and provides market intelligence and feasibility feedback to support category strategy development. Work requires intermediate subject matter knowledge and judgement to complete nonstandard issues are typically escalated to more experienced roles
