Qualificações

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI).
• Strong grounding in GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and FEMA.
• Experience with multi-entity and intercompany accounting.
• Payroll compliance and statutory filings experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Responsabilidades

• Monthly close for all entities in Zoho Books with reconciliations and intercompany entries.
• Run payroll end-to-end using Keka including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and Form 16.
• Manage banking operations and cash positions; ensure maker-checker processes.
• Own GST, LUT exports, TDS returns, advance tax, and ROC filings; coordinate with auditors.
• Handle foreign currency invoicing, ageing, and collections tracking.
• Produce monthly P&L by entity/project, 13-week cash flow, and founder dashboard.
• Assist automation of reconciliations, reminders, and reporting using AI tools.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Chartered Accountant to own the finance function across all our entities. This covers books, payroll, banking, compliance, receivables, and founder reporting. You’ll work directly with the CEO and CTO, and you’re expected to be strong across every one of these areas, not just one.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly close: Close books for all entities in Zoho Books, including bank reconciliations, accruals, intercompany entries (India, US, UAE), and a clean trial balance
• Payroll: Run payroll on Keka end to end, including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, full and final settlements, and Form 16
• Banking operations: Prepare payment batches on a maker-checker model, manage FIRC/FEMA documentation, and track cash positions daily
• Compliance: Own the compliance calendar, including GST (exports under LUT), TDS returns, advance tax, and ROC filings, and coordinate with external auditors
• Receivables: Handle invoicing in foreign currency, track ageing, and follow up on collections
• Reporting: Deliver monthly P&L by entity and project, a 13-week cash flow forecast, and a founder dashboard
• Automation: Work with our team to automate reconciliations, reminders, and reporting using n8n and AI tools

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
• Strong grounding in GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and FEMA
• Understanding of export-of-services accounting: foreign currency invoicing, GST on exports, LUT, FIRC
• Knowledge of payroll compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS on salary)
• Understanding of multi-entity and intercompany accounting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and at least one accounting tool (Zoho Books, Tally, or similar)
• Rigorous, organised, and able to own deadlines without being chased
• Clear communication with founders, auditors, and cross-functional teams

Good to Have

• Experience with Zoho Books and Keka
• Exposure to US books (QuickBooks) or UAE/DIFC compliance
• Articleship or internship at an IT/SaaS company or a firm with tech clients
• Curiosity about automation and AI tools
