Job summary

VitelyBio is seeking a Chartered Accountant to manage financial operations, compliance, taxation, audits, and financial reporting. The role emphasizes budgeting, financial planning, risk management, and process optimization within pharma/clinical research domains.

You will oversee ledgers, financial statements, GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, internal controls, and liaison with auditors. Proficiency with SAP, Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks is preferred; strong communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• Experience in Finance & Accounts, Taxation, and Audits.
• Industry preference: Pharma, Clinical Research, Manufacturing, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and reports as per accounting standards.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting of financial transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management.
• Implement cost control measures to improve financial efficiency.
• Manage direct & indirect tax compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Handle tax planning, filings, and returns while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors for statutory and internal audits.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting laws, taxation policies, and financial regulations.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide insights on cost reduction, profitability, and financial performance.
• Ensure timely audits (statutory, internal, and external) and compliance with company policies.
• Identify financial risks and implement internal controls to mitigate them.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies for financial assessments and reporting.
• Manage banking transactions, fund transfers, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with loan agreements, corporate finance, and investment strategies.
• Optimize working capital and liquidity management.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Financial Planning & Accounting

• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS), IFRS & GAAP.

• Proficiency in financial planning, MIS reporting, and budgeting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (SAP, Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management abilities.
