Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Pune City. The Chartered Accountant will handle statutory, tax, and internal audits; prepare and review financial statements; and manage direct and indirect tax compliances, including Income Tax and GST returns and assessments. The role includes advising clients on accounting, business structuring, and financial planning, as well as supporting due diligence, business valuation, and forensic audit assignments when required. The Chartered Accountant will respond to departmental notices, assist with regulatory and ROC compliances, and maintain accurate working papers and documentation. The role also involves regular client interaction, coordination with team members, and ensuring timely completion of assignments in line with professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) with valid registration; prior experience in a CA firm or corporate finance/accounting environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Ind AS, and financial reporting, including preparation and review of balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow statements, and notes to accounts.
• Hands‑on experience in Audit (statutory, tax, and internal), including planning, execution, documentation, and drafting of audit reports.
• Proficiency in Direct Tax and GST compliance, including return filing, tax computation, TDS, input tax credit, reconciliations, and handling assessments and departmental notices.
• Exposure to areas such as business valuation, due diligence, forensic audit, payroll and ROC compliance, and business setup support will be an advantage.
• Comfort with accounting and tax software, MS Excel and other MS Office tools; ability to work with data, perform reconciliations, and prepare management reports.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, rules, and regulations ethically and accurately.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, professional client-handling approach, and ability to work collaboratively.
