• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably newly qualified.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing, and taxation.
• Good working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations and maintain books of accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate statutory audits and internal audits, including schedules and supporting documents.
• Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flows, expenses, and budget vs. actuals.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes.
• Coordinate with clients to resolve accounting queries and ensure timely reporting.

Role & responsibilities

• We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) who has recently qualified and is eager to build a career in accounting, finance, auditing, and financial reporting.
• The candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, coordinating audit activities, assisting with budgeting, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements for our clients.
• The role offers an opportunity to gain practical exposure to client accounting, financial management, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in maintaining books of accounts, general ledgers, and financial records using accounting software.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assist in coordinating statutory audits and internal audits, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and other accounting activities.
• Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
• Help monitor cash flows, expenses, budgets, and actual expenditures.
• Support compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory requirements.
• Assist in maintaining internal financial controls and improving accounting processes.
• Coordinate with clients and their teams to resolve accounting queries and ensure timely reporting.
• Perform other finance and accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably a newly qualified CA.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing, and taxation.
• Good working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
