Job summary

Proficient Amritsar is seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage accounting, finance and taxation functions. Location is as per company requirements and employment is full-time. Experience ranges from 0–5 years.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, GST/TDS/income tax filings, internal audits, budgeting and MIS reporting, and coordinating with banks and auditors. Relevant CA qualification and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CA with ICAI membership is required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in corporate accounting, taxation, and financial management will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, finance, and taxation activities.
• Prepare and finalize financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and income tax returns.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with statutory auditors.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
• Ensure timely bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
• Manage budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Identify financial risks and recommend cost-control measures.
• Supervise the accounting team and ensure accuracy in financial records.
