Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, IT, or related field.
• 12+ years of SAP FICO experience with 8+ years in R2R.
• Strong experience in TRM, Tax, and CO processes.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance projects preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Your role and responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R), Treasury and Risk Management (TRM), Taxation, and Controlling (CO). The consultant will be responsible for designing, supporting and optimizing SAP Finance and Controlling solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives and statutory requirements. The role requires deep functional knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, treasury operations, and tax processes, along with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP modules.

This role is contributing to the Finance Services business Finance Process Data Systems division in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• SAP Record-to-Report (R2R) - Manage and support end-to-end Record-to-Report processes in SAP FI, Support financial reporting, reconciliation, and consolidation processes, Analyze and resolve finance-related production issues, Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solution recommendations, Support financial audits and compliance activities.
• Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) - Support SAP Treasury and Risk Management processes, Support hedge management and risk exposure reporting, Ensure accurate integration between TRM and FI modules.
• Tax Management - Manage tax reporting and statutory compliance requirements, Collaborate with tax teams to implement changes in regulatory requirements, Support tax-related testing and audit activities.
• SAP Controlling (CO) - Lead the design and support of SAP Central Finance Controlling processes, Analyze and map source system controlling objects to Central Finance controlling structures, Work closely with Finance business teams to harmonize controlling processes across multiple ERP systems, Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives during SAP S/4HANA Central Finance implementations and transformations.
• Integration & Project Support - Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects, Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams, Conduct system testing, UAT support, and end-user training, Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Required Skills - Strong experience in SAP FICO configuration and support, Hands-on experience in: R2R processes, SAP TRM, Tax configuration, SAP controlling, Knowledge of New GL/Universal Journal, Document splitting, Parallel Accounting, Profit center Accounting, Costing & COPA, Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance preferred, Understanding of SAP integrations with MM, SD, and Treasury.
• Functional Skills - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes, Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, or local accounting standards, Expertise in month-end and year-end closing processes, Experience with financial reporting and compliance requirements.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Information Technology, or related field.
• CA, CMA, CPA, MBA Finance, or equivalent certification preferred, SAP FICO certification is desirable.
• 12+ years of SAP FICO experience, Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in R2R processes.
• Experience in SAP TRM implementation/support projects, Strong exposure to Tax and Controlling processes, Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance projects is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, Ability to work independently in global support environments.
• Experience in Agile and ITIL-based support models, Leadership experience in handling business users and junior consultants.
