Job summary

CMS Info Systems (CMS) is seeking a skilled CCTV field service technician to install, configure, and maintain CCTV and E-Surveillance systems at ATMs, bank branches, and customer sites across Karnataka.

You will troubleshoot camera failures, video issues, and network connectivity, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure timely resolution within SLA. A valid two-wheeler license, Android smartphone, and willingness to travel daily are required.

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in CCTV, E-Surveillance, security systems, electronics, or field service.
• Good knowledge of CCTV installation, DVR/NVR, IP/Analog cameras, cabling, and basic networking.
• Bike/Two-wheeler and valid Driving Licence are mandatory.
• Android smartphone is mandatory for service reporting.
• Physically fit and willing to travel approximately 80-100 km per day.
• Good customer-handling and communication skills.
• Willing to work at customer locations, ATMs, bank branches, and other field locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, commission, and maintain CCTV and E-Surveillance systems, including IP/Analog cameras, DVR/NVR, monitors, storage, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues related to camera failure, video loss, poor image quality, recording/playback issues, power supply, cabling, and connectivity.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of LAN, IP addressing, network cables, switches, and PoE devices connected to CCTV systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of cameras, DVR/NVR, storage, connectivity, and surveillance equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and replace faulty modules/components, including multi-vendor CCTV equipment.
• Attend customer service calls and ensure timely resolution in accordance with defined SLA requirements.
• Follow all security and safety procedures while working at ATMs, bank branches, and financial institutions.
• Maintain company assets, tools, spares, software, and other materials provided for service activities.
• Update service calls, troubleshooting details, spare usage, photographs, and closure status accurately through the mobile/service application.
• Prepare and submit required service reports, preventive maintenance reports, checklists, and technical documentation.
• Escalate critical or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical/support team.
