Job summary

Safran in Bengaluru, India, seeks a CATIA V5 Design Engineer (MBD) to drive Model-Based Design across aerospace components. You will design parts and assemblies, read drawings, and apply GD&T on Sheetmetal and related modules to enable robust manufacturing.

The role requires 3+ years in MBD with strong Catia V5 skills; knowledge of landing gear systems is a plus. The position is permanent, full-time, based in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Model-Based Design (MBD).
• Experience with Catia V5 Part design, Assembly design, Drafting and Sheetmetal.
• Knowledge of 3D Functional Tolerancing and Annotation (FTA).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
