Job summary

Intima Heart & Superspeciality Hospital in Nagpur, Maharashtra, invites a dedicated Cardiologist to join our high‑performance Cardiology Department. The role spans diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases with emphasis on interventional and preventive care.

You will work in a state‑of‑the‑art Cath Lab with advanced imaging, perform and interpret non‑invasive tests, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
• Experience in non-invasive and/or interventional cardiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for patient-centric cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases, including acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac investigations such as ECG, Echocardiography, Stress Tests, and Holter monitoring.
• Evaluate patients for interventional cardiology procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
• Perform or assist with coronary angiography, angioplasty, and other interventional cardiac procedures based on experience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide patient education on cardiovascular disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and long-term cardiac care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to evidence-based medical practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous medical education.

The successful candidate will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of cardiovascular diseases while contributing to advanced interventional and preventive cardiac care.
