Job summary

Srikara Hospitals in Miyapur, Hyderabad (Telangana) seeks a qualified Cardiologist to join our medical team. Must hold MBBS with MD/Cardiology and valid Medical Council registration.

2–5 years of relevant surgical experience is preferred. Responsibilities include evaluating patients requiring surgical intervention, performing procedures, pre- and post-operative care, rounds, and coordinating with anesthesia, ICU and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients requiring surgical intervention.
• Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
• Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative management.
• Attend OP, IP and emergency surgical cases.
• Perform regular patient rounds and monitor recovery.
• Coordinate with Anesthesia, ICU, Nursing, Radiology and other clinical departments.
• Maintain accurate surgical records, operative notes and discharge documentation.
• Ensure adherence to OT protocols, infection-control standards and patient-safety guidelines.
• Provide appropriate counselling to patients and attendants regarding surgical procedures and follow-up care.
• Participate in clinical audits, departmental meetings and quality-improvement activities.
