Job summary

Accenture in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Capital Markets Operations Sr Analyst to handle complex fund accounting and administration activities, while mentoring junior analysts. The role focuses on NAV calculations, valuations, and accurate financial reporting for a leading Private Markets Investment Firm.

The candidate should have 6–8 years of experience in Capital Markets or related fields and hold MBA or Commerce degrees.

Qualifications

• Experience 6 to 8 years in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Private Market Investment.
• MBA or Bachelor of Commerce.
• Certifications such as NISM, CFA, FRM, CISI preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily cash and position reconciliations.
• Assist with NAV calculations and supporting schedules.
• Process capital call and distribution transactions.
• Prepare management fee calculations and supporting files.
• Post routine accounting entries in fund accounting systems.
• Maintain LP commitment and capital account records.
• Process vendor invoices and expense allocations.
• Prepare audit and client support documentation.
• Escalate breaks, exceptions, and control issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to defined operating procedures and controls.
• End-to-end NAV preparation, fair value support activities, valuation model roll-forward, level 2/3 adjustments, fund closing activities.

What are we looking for?

• Experience 6 to 8 years of overall experience, preferably in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Private Market Investment.
• Qualifications MBA/Bachelor of Commerce
• Certifications such as NISM, CFA, FRM, CISI, or relevant industry credentials are preferred but not mandatory

Work Requirements

• Willingness to work in EMEA shift timings, rotational shifts, and business-critical coverage windows as required.
• Willingness to work on Indian holidays or extended hours based on client and market requirements.
• Ability to operate in a 100% return-to-office or hybrid model as per project and business policy.
• Ability to support client visits, transition activities, governance reviews, audits, and crisis management situations when required.
