Job summary

Alten is hiring a CAM Programmer (3/5 Axis Milling) in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. The role requires 4+ years of experience in CAM programming and milling processes.

You will develop and optimize 3-axis and 5-axis milling CAM programs, select cutting tools, manage post processors, and collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to improve productivity. Familiarity with SolidCAM or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and optimizing CAM programs for 3-axis and 5-axis milling.
• Knowledge of tool library management and post processor configuration.
• Proficiency with CAM software and tool selection for efficient machining.
• Understanding of cutting tools and machining processes to optimize cycles.
• Familiarity with reading engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Hands-on experience with SolidCAM, MasterCAM, DelCAM or NX CAM.
• SolidWorks experience and collaboration via MS Teams.
