Job summary

Industrial Calibration Services (ICS) is seeking an Experienced Onsite Calibration Engineer to perform calibration activities at customer locations in and around Poonamallee, Chennai. The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience and the ability to travel regularly for onsite assignments.

You will maintain accurate documentation, follow ISO/IEC 17025 procedures, and ensure high quality calibration certificates and records while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in Calibration or Instrumentation.
• ITI/Diploma or B.Sc. Physics or relevant qualification.
• Strong practical knowledge of calibration and measuring instruments.
• Good documentation and measurement-recording skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly for onsite assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory and onsite calibration activities.
• Handle Pressure, Temperature, Electrical, Dimensional and Measurement Instruments.
• Record and analyse calibration data accurately.
• Maintain calibration worksheets, records and technical documentation.
• Support preparation and verification of calibration certificates.
• Follow ISO/IEC 17025 procedures and quality requirements.
• Handle reference standards and calibration equipment responsibly.
• Identify and report technical deviations or equipment issues.
• Follow customer-site safety requirements and use required PPE.
• Complete assigned work within scheduled timelines.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and reporting managers.

The candidate must be capable of independently handling calibration work, maintaining accurate documentation, following quality procedures, and travelling for onsite assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory and onsite calibration activities.
• Handle Pressure, Temperature, Electrical, Dimensional and Measurement Instruments.
• Record and analyse calibration data accurately.
• Maintain calibration worksheets, records and technical documentation.
• Support preparation and verification of calibration certificates.

• Good technical documentation and measurement-recording skills.
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly for onsite calibration assignments.
• Willingness to work from Poonamallee, Chennai.
• Freshers will not be considered.
