Job summary

Infosys is seeking a CAD Mechanical Engineer specializing in plastics for the Medical Devices domain. You will evaluate GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, DFM & DFA, and mold-flow analyses to optimize plastic molding components.

The role requires 5+ years in medical devices or related industry, strong CAD (SolidWorks preferred), PLM/PDM familiarity, and solid engineering calculations. Excellent documentation and communication skills are essential for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Medical Devices domain or relevant industry.
• Good knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance stack-up
• Knowledge of DFM & DFA
• Proficient in Designing of plastic molding components & mold flow analysis
• Good knowledge of manufacturing process.
• Proficient in CAD tools (Solidworks preferred)
• Strong knowledge & understanding of Engineering fundamentals and Design calculations
• Knowledge of PLM & PDM software
• Good Communication and Documentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office Tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
