Job summary

Accelon Inc. is seeking an experienced CAD design/QA engineer to collaborate with Product Owner and team to generate large CAD sketch sets using Fusion and other CAD tools. You will support QA automation for AI/ML features, and develop Fusion plugins as needed for development and testing.

You will own tasks, report progress, and verify workflows within Fusion environments. The role requires 5–8 years of CAD design or QA experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with leading CAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from a reputed college.
• 5–8 years of CAD design or QA engineering experience.
• Hands-on 2D/3D modeling, assembly, and drawing on CAD tools.
• Familiarity with Fusion, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of drawing standards and GD&T.
• Awareness of various component manufacturing processes.
• Expert in creating CAD plugins.
• Excellent English written and oral communication.
• Understanding of software QA methodologies and Scrum (JIRA preferred).

• Create Fusion plugins or as needed for development purposes.
• Actively engage in customer-reported issues and drive them to resolution.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively update progress.
• Test workflows and user experience within Fusion workspaces.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline from reputed engineering college.
• 5 to 8 years of experience as CAD design engineer or QA engineer.
• Hands-on experience of 2D and 3D Modeling/assembly/Drawing on Software Tools.
• Familiarity with Fusion, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or other CAD software.
• Knowledge on drawing standards and preparing component drawings with proper GD&T.
• Knowledge on various component manufacturing processes.
• Expert in creating plugins in CAD software.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of software QA methodologies and software development process.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum team (JIRA preferred).

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in working with cloud-based CAD products.
• Experience with QA Automation tools.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub and Looker.
• Passion for emerging technologies and their timely adoption.
• Experience managing complex projects and collaborating with software development teams.
