Job summary

Stantec in Pune, India, is seeking a CAD/BIM administrator with 3–5 years of customization experience across Autodesk and Bentley platforms. You will automate design processes, customize Plant3D, Forma ACC/BIM 360, and integrate CAD apps with collaboration tools, while documenting solutions and training users.

Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 workflows, English communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential. Flexible hours may be required to support production tasks.

Qualifications

Experience in Administration, customization and troubleshooting of CAD/BIM products mainly from major vendors - Autodesk and Bentley.
Autodesk Plant 3D customization experience is a MUST
Autodesk Construction Cloud (Autodesk Forma) administration experience is a MUST
Configuration of CAD Applications using in-house tools and documented methods
Integration of CAD Applications with Project collaboration tools (Bentley ProjectWise, ACC, BIM 360 Team/Docs)

Responsibilities

Configure and manage CAD applications and in-house tools.
Integrate CAD apps with collaboration platforms (Bentley ProjectWise, ACC, BIM 360).
Configure and manage CDE tools such as Autodesk Forma (ACC), ProjectWise, PW365, BIM 360, SharePoint.
Test in-house developed tools and document solutions for knowledgebase.
Train users on how to use software products.
Provide ongoing support for production tasks with flexible hours.

Job Description

This position will be responsible for administration, configuration, customization and troubleshooting of CAD/BIM applications used by our global Design Engineering Teams. He or she will be responsible for automating and customizing engineering design products to meet our organization and client standards. The candidate will also support the customization and integration of various Advance Technology Engineering applications and collaboration software products.

Autodesk Construction Cloud (Autodesk Forma) administration experience is a MUST
Configuration of CAD Applications by using the in-house tools & documentation available/manual method suggested by team.
Integration of CAD Applications with Project collaboration tools (Bentley ProjectWise, ACC, BIM 360 Team/Docs)
Configure and manage CDE tools such as Autodesk Forma (ACC), ProjectWise, PW365, BIM 360, SharePoint
Testing of in-house developed tools
Documenting solutions for the knowledgebase
Training users on how to use software products

Software skills

Autodesk tools: AutoCAD, Autodesk Plant3D, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks OR Bentley OpenPlant / OpenRoads / OpenBuilding
Autodesk Forma (Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, or Bentley ProjectWise
Microsoft Excel and Power BI
Computational tools: Dynamo
Model federation, coordination, and review technologies
Good understanding of ISO 19650 workflows and digital delivery methodologies
Minimum 3 to 5 years of customization experience with engineering applications
Degree or Diploma in Engineering (any discipline) or equivalent CAD/BIM experience
Knowledge and working experience in customization of at least one of the CAD software applications by Bentley or Autodesk
Understands 2D/3D drawing concepts
Good English oral and written communication skills
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Willing to work in flexible hours in order to accommodate the support tasks for production.
Knowledge of MDL, AutoLISP, Dynamo script is a plus
Preferred disciplines - Structural | Process Mech | Instrumentation | Electrical
Exposure to sectors like Water, Energy, Infrastructure, highways, rail, utilities.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
