Job summary

BDO India is seeking a Tax Technology specialist to collaborate with the technology team and translate tax logic into technology solutions for tax processes. You will engage with clients on Direct and Indirect Tax and contribute to the digital transformation journey.

Ideal candidates will have deep tax knowledge, experience with databases and software tools, and the ability to help chart product roadmaps while evaluating emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of Direct or Indirect Tax.
• Working knowledge of databases and software/platforms.
• Knowledge of tax function competence, hierarchy, operations.
• Knowledge of internal controls and processes.

Responsibilities

• Actively interacting with the technology team to explain the tax logics to be incorporated in the tax technology solutions.
• Making client understand how to file litigation/Direct Tax or Indirect Tax returns.
• Have knowledge of concepts around Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing, TDS.
• Understand, evaluate and implement emerging technologies.
• Be able to run point on POCs, demo Tax solutions, handle clients and be able to learn and adapt.
• Lead products and be able to provide reasonable feedbacks upon usage.
• Collaborate with Product teams and be able to chart efficient product roadmaps.
