Job summary

Kotak Life Insurance is hiring for CA Interns in the Finance & Accounting department. The role focuses on accounting and taxation, including TDS compliance, tax advisory, FATCA/CRS, and direct tax updates.

Interns will assist with tax audits, data preparation, and ensuring timely tax return filings, gaining exposure to life-insurance taxation and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Knowledge of TDS and Income Tax Laws.
• Experience with TDS and Income Tax software.
• Demonstrates technical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for TDS compliances of the company including payments, filing of returns, issuing TDS certificates, etc.
• Providing tax advisory to internal departments on TDS applicability and taxation.
• Responsible for FATCA/CRS compliances.
• Responsible for SFT/Form 60 compliances.
• Implementing direct tax related changes in processes and systems.
• Responsible for Tax Audit and timely filing of tax returns.
• Preparing assessment related data.

• Providing tax advisory to all the internal departments/stake holders on TDS applicability on life insurance products, taxation on life insurance and queries related to other direct taxation
• Responsible for FATCA/CRS compliances of the company
• Responsible for SFT/Form 60 compliances of the company
• Responsible for Implementing direct tax related changes in the company including system changes, processes implementation & improving the same
• Responsible for Tax Audit and ensuring timely filing to tax return of the company.
• Preparing Assessment related data
