Job summary

Intellgus in Indore is hiring for a semi-qualified CA/CA Inter to join our US Accounting team. The role focuses on building strong accounting fundamentals while handling day-to-day activities for US-based clients.

Prior CA firm or Indian accounting exposure is advantageous, with training provided to learn US practices and processes. We prefer candidates with 0–2 years of accounting experience, willing to work in US shifts from our Indore office.

Qualifications

• Semi-qualified CA / CA Inter with 0–2 years accounting exposure
• Experience in CA Firms or Indian accounting preferred
• Willingness to learn US accounting practices and work in US shifts
• Strong accounting fundamentals and knowledge of journal entries, ledgers and reconciliations
• Knowledge of MS Excel and basic GST/Tax concepts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities for US-based clients
• Record and maintain journal entries and ledger accounts
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with AP/AR processes
• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements and support month/year-end closing

About the Role

Intellgus is looking for Semi-Qualified CAs / CA Dropouts to join our US Accounting team.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong accounting fundamentals who want to build their career in US Accounting and International Finance while working with US-based clients.

Prior experience in CA firms, Indian Accounting, or accounting-related roles will be an added advantage.

We are currently giving preference to:

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities for US-based clients.
• Record and maintain accurate journal entries and ledger accounts.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review accounting records and identify discrepancies.
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
• Support preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Work on accounting-related queries and documentation for US clients.
• Follow applicable US accounting principles and processes.
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Strong understanding of Accounting Fundamentals
• Good knowledge of Journal Entries, Ledger, Reconciliation and Financial Statements
• Understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and Indian Accounting will be an advantage
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good verbal and written communication
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Willingness to learn US Accounting practices and processes
• Ability to work in US shifts

Knowledge of any accounting software will be an added advantage:

QuickBooks | Xero | SAP | Oracle | Tally | MS Excel | Other Accounting/ERP Software

Candidates without prior US Accounting experience can also be considered if they have strong accounting fundamentals and the right learning attitude.
