Promaynov Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata invites CA/US CPA graduates for Associate 2 role in US audit engagements, with mentorship and training across industry procedures.

You will work with GDC Seniors, Managers and ET to ensure high-quality work, timely delivery, and ongoing improvements, while developing professionally and contributing to CSR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or US CPA with first division (60%).
• Articleship completed as per ICAI standards.
• Fresh CAs or candidates with ~6 months to 1.5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of teams for US audit engagements.
• Demonstrate understanding of industry-specific audit procedures.
• Ensure work quality and timely completion.
• Raise issues to GDC Seniors, Managers and ET to protect quality and turnaround.
• Provide clarifications, train and mentor junior associates on audit papers.
• Perform upfront reviews as required.
• Plan and organize work to protect quality and efficiency.
• Interact with US rotational and ET contacts for clarifications.
• Contribute to improvements in audit work papers based on feedback.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency in audits.
• Develop self and others through audit trainings.
• Participate in firm's strategic initiatives and CSR programs.

Job description

he Associate 2 will be predominantly responsible to -

• Be an integral part of teams assigned as a fully integrated member for US audit engagement teams
• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of industry specific audit procedures
• Ensure the work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time
• Timely raise any issues identified to the GDC Seniors, Managers and ET so that the quality and turnaround time are not impacted
• Provide clarifications, train and mentor junior associates on a timely basis on industry specific audit and accounting knowledge and client specific matters on audit work papers
• Perform upfront reviews wherever required for deliverables and as advised by the team lead
• Plan and organize the work in such a way that the Quality and Efficiency are not impacted on the deliverables
• Interact and seek clarifications from US rotational and ET points of contact
• Work on improvement in audit work papers based on ET feedback
• Continuously adopt process improvements and work towards improving efficiency in the performance of audit
• Develop self by participating in and developing others by facilitating audit conceptual trainings
• Participate in firm's strategic initiatives and/or corporate social responsibility programs

Educational Qualifications

• Qualified CA or US CPA with or without a Master's degree in Finance & Accounting with first division (60%)
• Candidates who have completed articleship (aligned with ICAI campus standards)
