Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur for a CA Article Assistant / Audit Executive. The role involves assisting in statutory and tax audits, preparing and reviewing working papers, and supporting the preparation of audit reports. Daily responsibilities include verifying and analyzing financial statements, ensuring compliance with Income Tax and GST regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation and schedules. The Article Assistant / Audit Executive will liaise with clients to collect information, clarify queries, and support them in meeting regulatory and filing timelines. The role also includes learning and applying professional standards, participating in internal discussions, and contributing to process improvements within the firm.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing audit reports and supporting audit documentation.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and identifying variances or issues.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST), including returns, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
• Candidates should possess understanding of finance and financial statements, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
• Enrollment as a CA Article (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per ICAI requirements).
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software; familiarity with tax and audit tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines in a professional environment.
