Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Procurement Specialist to ensure the purchase of sourced components and services at the best price, quality and deadlines. You will develop strategies for Buy outs, Machined Parts and Fabrication procurement and align our purchasing with global supply chain goals.

You will own the supplier portfolio and work closely with planning to improve delivery and profitability while maintaining strong supplier relations and adherence to KPIs.

Qualifications

  • BE in Mechanical Engineering with 8–12 years of experience in procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of buy outs, machined parts and fabrication commodities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management and ERP systems.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Global and strategic negotiating skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and collaborate at all organization levels.

Responsibilities

  • Release PO's to suppliers against PR's per LT guidelines.
  • Follow up and obtain OA's.
  • Align supplier promise dates with Planning.
  • Update Oracle with supplier dates against lines.
  • Ensure on-time delivery for external and intercompany orders.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve invoice issues.
  • Coordinate with logistics for pickup of ready parts.
  • Review stock levels to optimize on-site inventory.

Job Summary

Flowserve is looking for a Procurement Specialist to help achieve our team goals by guaranteeing the purchase of sourced components and services at the best conditions of price, quality and deadlines, in accordance with recommendations of global Supply Chain Team. In this role you will develop and implement purchasing strategies by supporting the Commercial Operations team regarding Buy outs, Machined Parts and Fabrication procurement activities, developing our strategy in the engineered markets, with the goal of increasing our profitability and our on-time delivery. You will work on strengthening the alignment of the Company's Purchasing strategy and business strategy. Having the full ownership of the suppliers portfolio, you will work in close relationship with supply team to improve our delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring release of PO's to respective suppliers against PR's per LT guidelines
  • Followup and get the OA's
  • Align the supplier promise dates between Planning and suppliers
  • Update Oracle system on supplier promise dates against respective lines
  • Follow up on orders placed to ensure on time delivery on both external suppliers and intercompany orders.
  • Ensure On Time Delivery per KPI targets
  • Coordination with logistics for pick up of ready parts
  • Ensure smooth inwarding of goods
  • Resolve and Invoice related issues
  • Monitor and Improve supplier's performance
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues until parts are moved into stock
  • Review of stock levels to ensure optimal inventory is held on site.
  • And any other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
  • BE in Mechanical Engineering with 8 - 12 years of Experience
  • Strong knowledge on Buy outs, Machined Parts and Fab commodities
  • Proficiency in Supply Chain Management
  • Fluency in English
  • Good understanding of all the main purchasing areas: negotiations, evaluation and development of suppliers, supplier quality, logistics etc.
  • Knowledge of the requirements of our markets
  • Global and strategic negotiating skills
  • Good Team player and Capable of leading a team
  • Strong knowledge on ERP systems
