Job summary

Amazon India Limited is seeking a Manager III, Business Intelligence for its Bengaluru operations to drive analytics for the new grocery initiative. You will lead analytics across multiple functions, translate data into actionable insights, and shape customer-centric solutions in a fast-paced environment.

This senior role requires 7+ years in BI, 5+ years leading analytics teams, strong SQL, ETL, and data visualization skills with Tableau or QuickSight.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience.
• 5+ years delivering results managing a BI or analytics team, including employee development and performance management.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with ETL.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with R, Python, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on analytics requirements across business areas required for launch of the new initiative.
• Manage a team of 4-5 BIEs
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools.
• Apply data mining and quantitative analysis to understand ways to improve our content selection for customers
• Perform both ad-hoc and strategic data analyses
• Build various data visualizations to tell the story and let the data speak for itself
• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
• Build automation to reduce dependencies on manual data pulls etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• - 5+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
