VDartDigital is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer for our Bengaluru/Hyderabad offices. The role focuses on building scalable BI solutions, data models, and ETL pipelines with SQL, Redshift, and QuickSight. This Senior IC role requires delivering medium-to-large features with minimal supervision.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and TPMs, mentor junior engineers, and ensure data accuracy and performance across analytics platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data modeling, and data engineering, with strong expertise in SQL, Amazon Redshift, Amazon QuickSight, and ETL pipelines.

This is a Senior Individual Contributor (IC) role requiring candidates who can independently deliver medium-to-large features, write production-quality code, participate in technical and design reviews, troubleshoot complex production issues, and collaborate effectively with Product Managers and Technical Program Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, and deliver medium-to-large business intelligence and analytics features.
• Build and maintain scalable data models, ETL pipelines, and analytics solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and production-quality SQL and data processing code.
• Develop and optimize data solutions using Amazon Redshift.
• Create and maintain business intelligence dashboards and visualizations using Amazon QuickSight.
• Perform design reviews and contribute to technical solution discussions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and production issues with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers (TPMs), data engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, scalability, and performance across BI and analytics solutions.
• Work effectively within established engineering processes and tools, with the ability to adapt to Amazon's internal engineering tools and development practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related software development role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL.
• Strong experience with Amazon Redshift.
• Experience working with Amazon QuickSight.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience writing production-quality code.
• Ability to independently deliver medium-to-large technical features.
• Exposure to system design and scalable data architecture.
• Experience participating in design reviews and code reviews.Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a senior IC capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working at Amazon is highly preferred/required.
• Familiarity with Amazon's internal engineering tools, processes, and development methodologies.
