Job summary

The Whole Truth is seeking a Supply Chain Finance professional to own the SC FP&A, focusing on cost-to-serve, inventory economics, and P&L ownership for the manufacturing and logistics network.

You will build cost models, dashboards, and MIS to expose true landed costs by SKU, while partnering with treasury, procurement, and operations to drive margin improvements andcapital decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial partnership with Supply Chain to align financial goals with operational strategy.
• Provide the financial view on capex, 3P contracts, network decisions; present to leadership.
• Build reporting layer tracking inventory holding, BOM leakage, conversion cost, logistics cost, and waste.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, SNOP cadence; validate data definitions with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor the supply chain finance team and ensure robust cost accounting controls.

Job description

Own the financial partnership with the Supply Chain organization to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational complexity and ambition. Own the RM to FG to Customer cost chain- Inventory, Conversion, Logistics, and wastage - and the supply chain P&L. Be a thought partner to the supply chain function sharpening decisions, protecting value, and driving margin

Key responsibilities

Business Partnering:

Analyze RM, conversion, logistics, and wastage; identify gaps and recommend actionable interventions

Capex & sourcing lens: Provide the financial view and recommendation on supply chain capex, 3P contracts, and network/sourcing decisions before commitment

Present insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear and structured manner

Ensure seamless coordination between finance and supply chain teams, including the inventory controller on shared data and definitions

Supporting the business in evaluation of capacity additions, automation, warehousing, and own vs. 3P manufacturing trade-offs as and when needed

Financial Analysis & Planning:

Build and maintain cost models, dashboards, and MIS for RM, conversion, logistics, and waste; expose true landed cost by SKU

Conduct BOM-vs-actual and plan-vs-actual variance analysis (including buffer logic) and highlight key risks/opportunities

Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for the supply chain P&L; run the cadence linked to SNOP

Business Acumen & Controls

Build the reporting layer that tracks lag and lead indicators of the supply chain (inventory holding, BOM leakage, conversion cost, logistics cost, waste) and drive frequent call-outs and interventions on what it surfaces

Build and be a mentor to high-performing supply chain finance team, expanding their capabilities and responsibilities to support evolving business needs.

Ensure basic cost-accounting standards and inventory controls are in place, flag gaps in BOM/3P/landed-cost tracking, and recommend upgrades

Strong business and financial acumen, especially in cost and inventory economics

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working with large, imperfect datasets across ERP, WMS, and planning systems; advanced Excel and cost-modeling skills are essential, with SQL query reading/editing required and familiarity with BI/visualization tools a plus

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Background

4–6 years of experience in supply chain finance, manufacturing finance, or operations FP&A, ideally own manufacturing based consumer/D2C, retail, or high-growth product businesses.

Deep working knowledge of BOM costing, conversion cost build-up, logistics cost structures, and inventory accounting

CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification is a plus

Track record of measurable P&L / cost impact in a prior role
