Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, or a related function.
• CA or MBA in Finance from a leading institution.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, modelling, and management reporting.
• Proven ability to analyse business performance and develop commercially relevant recommendations.
• Experience evaluating unit economics, project profitability, and cost efficiencies.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for advanced data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Partner with department heads to monitor financial performance and optimise unit economics.
• Analyse project profitability, margins, costs, and financial performance across functions.
• Prepare actual-versus-budget analyses and translate findings into recommendations for leadership.
• Define and monitor KPIs related to sales pipeline, revenue, margins, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to improve capital efficiency and control costs.
• Develop executive MIS and automated dashboards to support timely decision-making.
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement; drive cross-functional projects.

This role goes beyond traditional financial reporting, combining financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business partnering, unit economics, and strategic project execution.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, advanced analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve profitability, optimise resource allocation, and support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead theAnnual Operating Plan (AOP), budgeting, and financial forecastingprocesses to support business priorities and effective resource allocation.
• Partner with department heads to monitor financial performance, improve profitability, and optimise unit economics.
• Analyse project-level profitability, contribution margins, operating costs, and financial performance across business functions.
• Prepare actual-versus-budget analyses, identify variances, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales pipeline health, revenue realisation, margins, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to improve capital efficiency, manage costs, and resolve financial and operational bottlenecks.
• Develop executive-level financial reports, management information system (MIS) reports, and automated dashboards to support timely decision-making.
• Identify emerging financial risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, strategic initiatives, and investment decisions through financial analysis and business modelling.
• Drive cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, resource optimisation, and sustainable growth.
• Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI-powered tools to improve financial analysis and reporting efficiency.
• Strengthen financial planning processes, reporting frameworks, and performance-monitoring systems.

What Makes You a Great Fit
