Paytm is seeking a Business Finance Manager for its central business finance team in India. You will analyze financial performance, partner with business and finance teams, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a Business Finance role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Business, participating actively in their strategic planning.
• Develop detailed financial plans, using a bottom-up approach to ensure accuracy and buy-in.
• Regularly analyze actual results against the plan, identify the reasons for variances, and clearly communicate findings to enable informed decision-making.
• Track and report on key financial and business metrics.
• Contribute to the unit's goal-setting process and create a detailed annual operating plan.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of month-end financial reports, including reviews and corrections.
• Contribute to improving financial processes, including revenue cycle activities.
• Analyze the financial impact of new products or business initiatives and present findings to senior management.
• Respond promptly to information requests with thorough analysis and insights for decision-making.
• Participate in projects to standardize and automate processes to improve efficiency.

About the role:

We're looking for a Business Finance Manager for our central business finance team. You'll be a key part of our success by:
