Job summary

Standard Chartered India is seeking a results-driven Business Clients Acquisition Executive to drive customer-centric sales in the Retail Banking space. You will target high-value clients, acquire new relationships, and fulfill financial product needs including assets, liabilities, insurance and investments.

The role emphasizes deepening client relationships, achieving personal sales targets, and delivering quality service with compliant practices across customer segments.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate. MBA’s would be an advantage.
  • Candidates having Sales experience of at-least 1 year in the Retail Banking Industry; especially Home Loans, Wealth and Savings Accounts would be preferred.
  • Candidate having AMFI, IRDA (and other relevant certification) certification will be preferred.
  • Good knowledge of the selected market and customer segments would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Strong inter-personal skills, which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Meet the business objectives initiated by the respective country Priority Clients business.
  • Customer focused need-based selling and deepening customer relationships.
  • Maximize penetration by cross-selling assets, liabilities, insurance and investments.
  • Ensure operational quality and error-free customer applications and documentation.
  • Maintain responsive and responsible selling with zero tolerance for mis-selling.

  • Zero tolerance – Fraud, Mis-selling
  • Attend training, acquire knowledge and apply to job function
  • Adhere to all policies, guidelines and procedures, comply with local regulatory requirements
Governance
  • To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
