We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Head to lead the agency’s growth function. This role demands a blend of market intelligence, relationship management, pitch leadership, and the ability to position the agency as a creative partner of choice for brands. You will work closely with senior leadership to define growth goals, unlock new revenue streams, and expand the agency’s client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
  • Identify and target potential clients across industries including FMCG, lifestyle, tech, retail, and emerging D2C brands.
  • Proactively reach out to marketing heads, brand managers, founders, and CXOs for business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a high‑quality lead pipeline and convert it into sustained business.
  • Drive RFP/RFQ responses, proposal development, and end‑to‑end pitch management.
Pitch Strategy & Leadership
  • Lead creative and strategic thinking during pitches, ensuring the agency presents compelling solutions.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, performance, and servicing teams to build strong pitch decks.
  • Articulate the agency’s value proposition with clarity, confidence, and persuasion.
  • Present proposals to senior‑level clients and secure sign‑offs.
Relationship Management
  • Establish strong professional relationships with key decision‑makers across brands.
  • Nurture long‑term partnerships and explore cross‑selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Market Intelligence & Positioning
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Identify new service offerings, partnerships, and collaboration opportunities for agency expansion.
  • Work with leadership to refine the agency’s brand positioning and pitch narrative.
Revenue Planning & Reporting
  • Define quarterly and annual revenue targets in alignment with leadership.
  • Track performance, conversion rates, and deal progress with structured reporting.
  • Partner with finance and operations to ensure smooth onboarding and contract negotiations.
Team Leadership
  • Build and mentor a high‑performing business development team.
  • Set the team’s outreach strategies, pitch quality benchmarks, and follow‑up cadence.
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Skills & Experience Required
  • 6–10+ years in a business development or strategic partnerships role within a digital/creative/advertising agency.
  • Proven track record of winning mid‑to‑large accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand strategy, and creative services.
  • Ability to think strategically, build narratives, and sell ideas convincingly.
  • Networked within brand and marketing communities (bonus).
  • High energy, proactive approach, and comfortable working in fast‑paced agency environments.
