Job summary

Dormer Pramet is seeking a seasoned Business Control Manager to lead financial analysis, budgeting and reporting across our operations in India. You will drive cost efficiency, capital planning and product profitability, partnering with senior management to align financial insights with strategic decisions.

• 20+ years of experience in finance and business control.
• CMA/CA/CIMA/CPA or MBA (Finance) qualification.
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, reporting and audits.

• Follow up, analyze and explain monthly actuals, forecasts and targets.
• Drive cost control, working capital and product profitability.
• Prepare and validate business cases and investment proposals.

We are now looking for Business control Manager.Main Responsibilities:Follow up, analysis and clear explanations and comments regarding monthly actual results, Quarterly forecasts and yearly targetsKey performance driver evaluation and monitoringPreparation and validation of business cases and investment proposalsSupport key business decision with fact based analysis and simulation, Puts the financial perspective on operational issuesNew products evaluation, Standard costing, Life cycle managementDriving improvements in monthly reporting, Periodic forecast preparations, performing financial analysis of outcome and is part of action plan.Consolidation and timely reporting of actual, forecast and target results in OnestreamDriving Performance improvement, Productwise profitablity & GBR reportingDriving Net Working Capital efficiency (improving DIP, Obsc. Slow moving etc.)Ensuring internal finance control and processes are maintained and followed in accordance with the statutory practicesValidation of various SavingsConduct and communicate financial analysis and reporting with relevant stakeholders to increase awareness leading to relevant actions and comments (monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc)Understand and demonstrate the attributes as defined in the Sandvik Leadership modelContingency measures to mitigate risks/inflationAgile way of workingAssign and maintain cost centers, cost efficiency analysisCountry Finance Statutory, Internal & Group AuditsEnsuring timely submission of data and Analysis for Group Audit, Hard closeSupport in completion of Statutory Audit by data submission and analysisResponsible for Cost Audit CompliancesSupport to Direct Tax in adhering Transfer Pricing CompliancesSupport to Indirect Tax in adhering GST CompliancesDriving improvements related to internal Audit observationsPlant Engineering, Admin & Infra, Site IRSupport in Expense Budgeting, quarterly forecastMonitoring of Actual expense Vs. BudgetSet Process for Cost allocation across all functions and plantsMonthly closing and reporting in BPCPreparation and validation of business cases and investment proposalsGovt. AuditsData submission and reconciliation for various Audits performed by Govt.
