Job summary

NTT DATA Services seeks a Senior Business Consulting Consultant in Bengaluru to craft supply chain strategies, perform data ETL, and develop optimization models. You will work in small analytical teams, deliver actionable recommendations, and collaborate with clients across geographies.

The role requires expertise in SQL, Excel, Alteryx, R, SPSS, Python with visualization tools Tableau/Power BI, and hands-on experience with optimization platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, MBA or Master’s degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Expertise in data analytics using SQL, Excel, Alteryx, R, SPSS, and Python with visualization tools Tableau or Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with optimization platforms such as Optilogic, Lyric, Coupa LLamasoft, Blue Yonder, AIMMS, O9 Solutions or similar.
• 2+ years experience in supporting Supply Chain initiatives (Design, Network optimization, Planning, Inventory Optimization, Logistics).
• Advanced skills in managing and analyzing large data using relational databases; willingness to travel to Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and deliver analysis-driven supply chain design/optimization recommendations.
• Perform ETL, build optimization models, execute and evaluate scenarios, and analyze data outputs.
• Use Tableau, Power BI, SQL, KNIME, Alteryx or similar tools to derive insights and visualize large data sets.

We are currently seeking a Business Consulting Consultant to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Consultant/Sr. Consultant at NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting, you will join a team that helps craft supply chain strategies for the world’s largest and most dynamic firms. You will work in small teams of analytical thinkers and supply chain experts with a passion for problem solving. RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be working with a project team from NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting and our clients to design, manage, and deliver analysis-driven, actionable supply chain design/optimization recommendations. Your primary roles will be to perform data ETL (extract, transform, load), build supply chain optimization models/digital twins, execute and evaluate supply chain scenarios, and perform data analytics on input data and optimization model outputs using reports, visualization charts, and dashboards. Client and/or other NTT DATA SCC team members may be located across multiple geographies.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Develop an understanding of the client industries, business operations, and supply chain challenges.
• Work closely with the team & client to gather, transform, analyze, and report data.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues to support solution review and acceptance.
• Use Tableau, Power BI, SQL, KNIME, Alteryx or similar tools to derive analytical insights and visualize large data sets.
• Design and build optimization models using Optilogic, Coupa (LLamasoft), Lyric, Blue Yonder, AIMMS, Anylogic, O9 Solutions, or similar tools.
• Develop comprehensive output reports and analyses based on optimization scenarios outputs.
• Work closely with the team to design, develop, and integrate material for client presentations and support the project delivery during interactions and presentations.
• Identify opportunities and enhance NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
• Continuously strengthen problem-solving, analytical, and consulting skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s, MBA or Master’s degree (or equivalent) preferably from a leading institution in Supply Chain Management, Operational Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Have expertise in data analytics using tools/packages such as SQL, Excel, Alteryx, R, SPSS, and Python, along with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Preferably hands-on experience with optimization platforms such as Optilogic (Cosmic Frog), Lyric (Lyric Studio), Coupa (LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru), Blue Yonder Solutions, AIMMS (SC Navigator), O9 Solutions, or similar modeling tools, supporting Network Design, Inventory Optimization, and Transportation/Logistics consulting engagements.
• Preferably 2+ years experience in supporting Supply Chain related initiatives (Design, Network optimization, Planning, Inventory Optimization, Logistics Optimization).
• Advanced skills in managing and analyzing large data using relational databases are a plus.
• Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality work under tight timelines.
• Reside in or be willing to relocate to Bengaluru, Karnataka, India with flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
