Job description

This is a high-impact role for an experienced change professional who can help leaders turn strategic and operational change into sustainable adoption, stronger business outcomes, and lasting change capability.

The successful candidate will combine strategic advisory skills, hands-on change delivery, strong communication, and proven senior stakeholder engagement.

As the primary change partner for a dedicated business domain, you will work closely with leaders, HR, communications, agile coaches, and the Strategic Change Team to ensure that: Change initiatives are prepared, delivered, adopted, and sustained effectively Central change frameworks, methods, and cultural transformations are embedded locally The business builds self-sustaining change maturity and capability over time The role blends strategic partnering, practical delivery, network activation, and capability building.

The Business Change Partner is part of the IHDS Strategic Change Team, reports to the Strategy Lead, and collaborates with other Business Change Partners aligned to functional areas.

In addition to supporting the assigned business area, each Change Partner will contribute to one or more strategic change streams that build organization-wide capability and enable consistent adoption across IHDS.

Main Responsibilities
Business-Aligned Change Leadership

Act as the primary change partner to senior leaders in the assigned business area, working in tandem with the dedicated agile coach Translate business strategy and priorities into targeted change interventions and adoption plans Align change activity to business outcomes, value realization, and operational impact Coach and support leaders to own and sponsor change effectively

Change Delivery & Adoption

Monitor the functional change landscape using Strategic Change’s change intelligence framework, including heatmaps, adoption metrics, behaviour change, and business outcomes Turn insights into focused support, interventions, and adoption actions Activate Change Catalysts and SME networks to drive local adoption aligned with business priorities

Deployment of Central Change Frameworks

Roll out and embed centrally designed change frameworks, tools, and programmes Translate frameworks into practical, prioritised, business-relevant application Feed business insights and needs back to the Strategic Change Team to continuously improve methods and ways of working

Culture & Ways of Working Transformation

Support the business, together with the dedicated agile coach, to embed continuous value delivery, customer-centricity, and behaviours that reinforce a change-ready, adaptive culture

Stakeholder & Network Activation

Engage senior business leaders, Change Catalysts, SME networks, HR, communications, and technology partners to build shared ownership of change Foster cross-functional accountability so change is led by the business, not dependent on central support

Change Communication & Engagement

Enable leaders to communicate change with clarity, credibility, and impact, aligned to enterprise narratives and business priorities Shape engagement approaches that help employees understand what is changing, why it matters, and how they can contribute

Continuous Improvement & Insight

Use data, feedback, and adoption evidence to assess change effectiveness Provide evidence-based insights on adoption, engagement, and impact Continuously refine the approach to maximise business value and employee experience

Required Competencies
  • Core Change Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum five years’ experience in change management, with significant focus on adoption and communication in a global, complex organisation
  • Change management certification such as PROSCI, ADKAR, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong end-to-end change management expertise, from strategy through sustained adoption
  • Ability to translate strategy into practical adoption actions and embed behavioural and cultural change

  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of operational drivers
  • Skilled at linking change activity and metrics to measurable business outcomes

  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Experience activating networks such as Change Catalysts, SMEs, and business champions
