Solution Architecture and Strategy

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the long‑term BI strategy, including selecting appropriate tools and technologies.
• Design and develop data models, ETL packages, OLAP cubes, and reports utilizing Power BI, while adhering to best practices.
• Document source‑to‑target mappings, data dictionaries, and database design.
• Work with APIs and tools like Postman to build and test APIs, integrating them seamlessly into the overall architecture.

Data Modeling and Governance

• Develop and maintain reference architectures for reports based on various data sources (Data Warehouse, SharePoint, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to data governance standards, including proper data refreshes and publishing of common dataset hierarchies.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.

Technical Leadership and Collaboration

• Lead technical reviews of reports and dashboards before production deployment.
• Optimize data flows by identifying areas for improvement.
• Provide hands‑on guidance to users in optimizing their data models and reports, ensuring efficient performance and usability.

Power BI Premium Capacity Management

• Manage Power BI Premium capacity, including allocation, monitoring, and optimization.
• Allocate workspaces effectively based on business needs.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources within the Premium capacity.

User Support and Community Engagement

• Address user questions related to Power BI and other BI technologies within the organization.
• Proactively troubleshoot and fix data model issues for users when necessary.
• Organize monthly community calls to support, train, and guide citizen developers, fostering a strong BI community.
