Job summary

Synapsewave Innovations in India is seeking a results-driven business analyst to collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and users to gather and understand requirements.

You will translate business needs into functional specs, user stories, and process flows, support QA and UAT, and analyze data using SQL and Excel to inform product decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering requirements from product managers and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and translating needs into specs.
• Proficient in SQL and data analysis with Excel.
• Familiarity with APIs and web applications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Work with product managers, business stakeholders, and users to gather and understand requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and use cases (BRD / FRD).
• Analyze existing workflows within ODIN modules and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and support teams through the full SDLC from requirement to release.
• Track requirements, changes, dependencies, and open issues across the project lifecycle.
• Support QA in validating test scenarios and coordinate UAT with stakeholders through sign-off.
• Perform basic data analysis (SQL queries, Excel-based analysis) to support product and business decisions.
• Study exchange circulars (NSE, BSE, MCX, SEBI) and help assess their impact on our product.
• Continuously build knowledge of the capital markets domain and the technology stack behind ODIN.
